Local wattles will bloom from July to December 2026, so now is the time to start creating for next year’s springtime exhibition. Let the golden blooms inspire your artwork.
Venue: Australian National Botanic Gardens, Canberra.
Date and entry criteria: To be finalised and announced later this year.
Eligible media: Includes paintings, drawings, pastels, linocut prints, printed digital illustrations, collages, mixed media and textiles – artworks that can be framed and hung on a wall of the exhibition space. Photographs, digital animations and sculptures will not be accepted. Please be advised that the gallery only has capacity for wall-mounted artwork. As a result, all submissions must be framed and equipped for hanging.
Prize: $1,000 for best artwork
