Celebrating National Wattle Day in the National Capital

Virtual celebration with the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley for National Wattle Day and choristers from the ACT Primary Concert Choir conducted by Katharine Finlayson. Organised in collaboration with the Wattle Day Association. The Choir sang ”The Wattle Song – music, lyrics and recording can be found on the ‘For Schools’ page.

Canberra is lighting up gold and green for National Wattle Day!

See the Telstra Tower, the National Carillon, Questacon, Old Parliament House, the Shine Dome, the National Screen and Sound Archives, The Royal Australian Mint, the Ian Potter Foundation Centre and Canberra Airport ring road in yellow.
